If you want to create IP Chain(s) within a Work, please be aware of the following components:
- The Controlled Territories tab, the territories you control, will inform which Territories initially appear in IP Chain.
- The Composer tab, will inform which Composers (Role, Shares + if Controlled) & Publishers are present in IP Chain.
Once these two Tabs are filled out, you can click the 'Load into IP Chain' button which will use the above information to generate an initial IP Chain.
From there, you will be able to add per territory:
- Composer/Publisher Capacities
- Controlled Y/N
- Performance Ownership & Collection %s
- Mechanical Ownership & Collection %s
- Sub Publishers/Administrator above or below other Publishers
- Additional IP Chains for other Territories
Use the copy button in the header row to create further IP Chains which will include the composers and capacities, you can then just add data based per the new territory / IP Chain.
Within each IP Chain, the aim should be to ensure that the 'TOTAL SHARE' fields each show '100' and turn green - meaning you have represented full Ownership & Collection %s across the IP Chain.
