When creating a Contract you can set whether the Contract includes Active Rights, by doing this, you can check whether the Contract end date has passed.
To set the Active Rights simply follow these steps:
1. Go to Contracts - Contracts.
2. Click 'Create'.
3. In the Terms & Dates section of the Overview Tab, fill out the contract's rights period information.
4. Once filled out, Click 'Save'.
5. In the list page of Contracts, you can now search through Contracts using the Active Rights field.
(Searching 'Active' will only show contracts still in term, 'Expired' will only show contracts now out of term).
