How do I know if my contract is a License IN or License OUT agreement?

In the contract ‘Headline Info, found in the Overview tab of the contract, you can find the IN/OUT field.

IN = If you sign a record or publishing deal ‘IN’ to your catalogue/company (i.e you sign an Artist to YOUR Label).

OUT = If you are Granting a License ‘OUT’ (i.e you sign the rights of a track for sync TO another party).

To use the IN/OUT field simply follow these steps:

1. Go to Contracts - Contracts.
2. Click 'Create'.
3. In the Headline Info select the IN or OUT from the drop-down menu.
4. Once selected, Click 'Save'.
5. In the list page of Contracts, you can now search through Contracts using the IN/OUT field.
