Term | Comment |
Title | The assigned name that you give to a Stem Product. This can be the name of the eventual Asset but can be unrelated to any track titles. |
Version | The variation title of the Asset. This normally notes the difference from the original asset. This can range from 'Radio Edit' to 'Extended Version' to 'VIP Remix' and much more. |
Original/Remix | The identification tag which identifies if the Asset is the original version or a remix/re-edit of any sort |
Artists | The performing artist(s) who appear on the Stem. Multiple Artists can be added under this field. |
Primary Genre | The key Genre of the music as heard on the Stem. Only one can be entered and must be chosen from an extended pre-populated list. |
Secondary Genre | The sub-Genre of the music music as heard on the Stem. Multiple minor genres can be entered and any sub-Genre can be typed in. |
Explicit | The identification tag that notes if the Stem contains Explicit language or imagery. Mark 'Yes' if contained, 'Clean' if previously present but censored and 'None' if no Explicit content is contained in any form. |
Swing | The deviation from a Straight reading of the original composition, as it was written. |
Bit Depth | The resolution of sound data contained in audio. The higher the bit depth, the more detailed a recording is with the industry standard being 16 or 24. |
Sample Rate | The amount of times per second a sound is sampled. It is the frequency of samples used in a digital recording. The industry standard is 44.1kHz or 48kHz. |
Key | The key of which the Stem has been composed around. In music, the Key determines the scale in which the music revolves around. |
Note | A note represents the pitch and duration of a sound in musical notation. |
Sharp/Flat | The indication whether the note registers as a sharp or flat in the key. |
BPM | The beats per minute which measure the tempo of your Stem. 60 BPM is equivalent to a beat a second. |
A Capella 1 | An A Capella is a sound recording which only contains vocals and does not contain any instrumental content. |
A Capella Role | The style of the A Capella as found on the Stem. |
Mood | The feeling and/or emotion you prescribe to the Stem. The purpose of this information is mostly based on Sync purposes such as easy identification of suitable Stems/Assets for consideration - allowing you to gather and recommend suitable tracks/compositions with ease. |
Emotion | The strong feeling and/or emotion you think is projected by the Stem. The purpose of this information is mostly based on Sync purposes such as easy identification of suitable Stems/Assets for consideration - allowing you to gather and recommend suitable tracks/compositions with ease. |
Producer | The name of the main Producer that has produced the Stem. |
Mixed By | The name of the main Mixer that has mixed the Stem. |
Recording Location | The name of the main location of recording of the Stem. Can be the name of a studio, city, country or other notable location. |
Studio Designer | The name of the person that designed the studio in which the stem was produced |
Desk Used | The mixing desk in which you recorded/produced the stem. |
Stem Owner | The yes/no marking of the Stem to make clear if the Account that this Stem was uploaded to is the current Stem owner. |
(Performer) Name | The full name of the performer on the Stem. It is recommended that real names are used as opposed to artist names although this is not strict. |
(Performer) Type | The type of said performer on the Stem. Their type is determined by what capacity they appear on the asset in. |
(Performer) Role | The role or rather instrument played by the said performer on the Stem. As well as instrumental roles, this can also include Vocals, Authoring or Composing as roles. |
